Lauren's Story

It was about 5:00 and it was time to go down stairs and meet Maddie, I was so nervous. I grabbed her gift, and went down. My mom and I walked outside, and I saw Maddie, her mom, and her little brother Parker sitting on a bench, I couldn't believe it was really them!

I told Maddie I loved her hair, etc. I gave her the gift from me, then she gave me my gift. We stood for about 30 minutes waiting for minutes waiting for our mom's to stop talking, so we finally went and sat down. She really wanted me to open the gift, so I did. She gave me a photo frame with a picture of her and Patrick Dempsey that said "Congrats on winning the top fan award Lauren, your friend, Maddie" and she gave me a CD of pictures of her. Then me, Maddie, and her brother went and sat in the car. Maddie showed me her back pack, and we talked a little bit. Then our mom's finally stopped talking, and her mom got in the car.

We drove up to the Universal City Walk. Maddie and Parker got some ice cream, then we walked around and talked a little bit. When they were done with their ice cream we went and ate dinner. Maddie and Parker drew me something, so cute! When Maddie was drawing her mom told me all aboutΚme all about acting, and to just have fun. Then when we were done eating, we walked around some more, then we walked to the car. And Maddie said "I want to spend more time with Lauren!" so her mom drove us to the Greys Anatomy set to see where Greys is filmed.

It's a real hospital that they use, except ovbiously the hospital is old and not being used. Then her mom got a picture of me in front of the set. We got back in the car, and I gave Maddie a mint and a Miley Cyrus poster. Maddie LOVES Miley. Then she found a spoon, and pretended that she was making me some food in my purse, so cute! When we got back to my hotel, Maddie really didn't want me to leave.

We took some more pictures, then Parker asked their mom if I could spend the night, I couldn't because it was a school night. And Maddie REALLY wanted me to come home with her, I felt so bad that I couldn't. Then after our mom's talking for a long time again, it was time to go. Maddie, Parker, and her mom hugged me, then they left. I missed Maddie SOOO much.
