Hi Abbey. My agency is AEF. That stands for Amsel, Eisenstadt & Fraizier. I just signed with them last year when my agent moved to there agency. My brother's and I love our agents. Heyy Maddie! You did an amazing job on Grey's Anatomy! It's my favorite show. The two episodes you were in were so good and you made them even better! I'm so glad that you have a fansite! I have a few questions for you... 1. Did you get to meet Katherine Heigl (Izzie) while you were on the set of Grey's Anatomy?2. Other than Ellen Pompeo, what other cast members did you get to meet?
3. I know you are a little young to watch the show , but did you continue to watch Grey's Anatomy after you finished filming your two episodes?
4. In between takes or before you started filming, what did you and Ellen Pompeo talk about?
Maddie Says...
1. No we didn't work at the same time but I saw her a few times in between shifts.
2. I worked with Patrick Demsey and I met a few others really quick qhile they were having lunch and I was banking school hours. Most of my time was with Ellen and Patrick.
3. I try to when my mom and dad would let me. My dad tends to forget to tivo it for me and then I miss it. GRRRRRR!
4.It was super cold and we were trying to stay warm inside the tent. She was usually going over her lines but would talk with me sometimes also. She would ask me about how I was doing in school and I remember her saying something about how she was suprised I didn't complain about the long hours in the cld. I thougth "why would I complain? I LOVE it." Thanks for watching me!
Courtney Asked:
Heyy Maddie! Do u do pointe? when did u start???
Maddie Says...
Hi Courtney. No, I do not do pointe yet because my teacher says I am still to young. I do take ballet 2-3 times a week. At least I did before I got sick. I am trying to get back in shape still now. Thanks for asking though. My teachers daughter is awesome! She is in New York right now playing the role of Juliet in a ballet about Romeo and Juliet. She is really really good. She became a principle for the New York ballets at 16 or 17 yrs old. AMAZING!
Do you like ballet?
Love, Maddie
Lesley Asked:
1. Whats your favorite food?
2. When did you decide you wanted to be an actress?
3. If you had to pick between dance and acting, which would you pick?
4. Whats your motivation to cry in scenes?
XOXOX Lesley
Maddie Says...
Hi Lesley,
1) My favorite food is Reeses Peanut Butter cup ice cream. I love it!
2) I wanted be an actress when I was really little because I was always with my mom when my big brother auditioned. But when I was about 2 or 3 years old I got scared and didn't want to be an actress anymore. I even blew it at an audition my mom said. I later told her it was because I was afraid of getting stuck in the television. I didn't know how I would get out. This story actually got the attention of the agent who got me my first pilot. I have loved acting ever sense.
3) Thats hard because they help eachother and I love both. Acting has helped me in my lyrical to show emotion and my dance and conditioning has helped me in performing certain things for acting. I would definately give up a dance competition for an acting job though. I have had to do this many times before and thats ok. I LOVE dance though and want to keep training even if it means I can't compete.
4) Crying on command is a technique you have to learn. Everybody is different my coach says. I use my stomache muscles and have to imagine the scene itself. That doesn't work for everybody though. I tried teaching my younger brother that trick and he couldn't do it. He liked me to hit him. Just kidding! I practice my crying at least once a week to keep my muscles working well. Its important to imagine the scene and why you have to cry though. Sometimes its hard to stay in that mood though. I know on Grey's I would warm up and being crying really hard and people kept asking me "are you ok?" Some would try to make me smile not realizing it was making it hard for me to stay in character. Even Ellen was worried about me warming up and asked if I was ok. My mom said people asked her if I wasn't liking working that day. She told them I was warming up my scene.
Thanks for asking.
Love, Maddie
Lidia Asked:
1. What was your favorite moment on the set of Grey's Anatomy? What about Love's Abiding Joy then?
2. What is your dream job?
Maddie Says...
1. My favorite job on Grey's was working with all the blood. I loved it and thought it was cool how they made the fake blood look real. The bloody scenes were my favorite! I had fun dressing up and acting like I was in the old days on Love's Abiding Joy. It was cool pretending to go to school and use small chalk boards to write on instead of paper. I'm glad we don't use them now though. Too messy!
2. My dream job would be working on a huge movie and getting to work with Ashley Tisdale. She's so cool!

Lauren Asked:
01. What was it like working with Ellen Pompeo?
02. What is your favorite sport?
Maddie Says...
01.It was a lot of fun. She would always try to be very nice to me and she let me hang out with her in her tent in the mornings to stay warm. It was so cold and I carried hand warmers in my pockets. It was filming the action shots with her. She really works hard even when she was cold and had to repeat the scenes lots of times to get the best shot.
02.I have several I really like. I am a dancer, a gymnast and a soccer player. I love to compete in dance. I am leaving in a few minutes to go to a competition even. I also really like to play soccer. My favorite positions are center forward (I love to score goals) and goalie. Goalie is hard sometimes because I am not very tall, but thats ok. I play tough!
Adi Asked:
: 1- how did you get in to acting?2- when you worked on Grey's Anatomy did you get to meet Kate Walsh at all? she's my favorite. =]
Maddie Says...
Adi, Thanks for being so patient. I have been really busy and sick. My big brother Austin is an actor and I was always on auditions with him. I kept asking to audition also. My mom let me audition for a new agent with my big brother and they said they loved us and wanted to be our agent. No, I saw her, but she worked the hours when I was in schooling or not on location. She's pretty though.
I love my fans! -Maddie

1. Do Patrick and Ellen get along in real life really well like they seem to at events?
2. And whats coming up next for you?

They really didn't work very much together when I was there, but when they did they were really nice to each other. Nothing right now. Things have been kind of quiet lately and I have been really sick. I am glad to be able to go back out again now though. Grey's Rocks!, Maddie
Linz Asked:
Hey Maddie, here are some questions I've wanted to know:
- What's your favorite stuff in your room?
- Do you dress up when it's time for Halloween? If you do what are you gonna wear next year?
- What's your favorite story or book?
I hope there weren't too many questions, you're amazing!
Maddie Says...
My favorite things are my Hello Kitty TV, my Twinn Doll, and my shelves filled with dance and soccer trophies. I love to dress up but I always wait till the last minute to decide and drive my mom crazy. Its too hard to decide! I really like being a witch and I was dressed up like on twice even. Once as a pretty witch and once as an evil witch. I liked being Supergirl last year and Wonder Woman 2 years ago. I got to wear a black wig. That was fun. I am thinking about being Princess Leah or Hawk Girl. Right now I am reading one of the American Girl series about Kit. I really like these books. I already read the ones about Molly. Those were good too. Ramona the Pest was really funny. I liked when Ramona got her new boots and got stuck in the mud with them. It was funny. Sorry its hard to concentrate my daddy is annoying me/ LOL. He is being silly right now. Thanks for being a fan. I hope I answered everything you wanted to know. And no you didn't ask too many questions, I liked answering them.
Olivia Asked:
1. Is it hard to balance school, acting, and dance?
2. Do you get alot of attention from your friends, teachers, etc because you were on Grey's Anatomy?
Ps. GREAT JOB!
Maddie Says...
Olivia, sometimes its hard to get practice in for dance. Like right now during pilot season I have to miss a lot of dance practices and school. Thats why I don't compete on dance teams any longer. It wasn't fair for me to miss so much practice. I only compete my solos and a duet/trio with my friends. My teacher is really nice and always tries to get me all my work so I can take it with me and not get behind. She's awesome! No, not more than usual. My teacher was excited I was on her favorite show, but she is really cool about not making a big deal about it. My friends all thought it was cool also. Thanks for saying great job and thanks for being a fan. Hugs, Maddie
Kathryn asked:
Hey Maddie! Great Job on G .A. Wow I can't belive Im actually writting to you!! I have 3 questions What Kind of dancing did or do you do? I do Jazz and Ballet How old are you? And do you really have 8 cats?
Maddie Says...
Thanks Kathryn...Grey's was lots of fun. I love all kinds of dancing, but my favorites are tap, jazz and lyrical. I love ballet as well. I miss tap though because my teacher quit and opened her own studio now. I love lyrical though. I have a lyrical solo this year and I LOVE it. Yesterday I won 2nd overall highpoint with my lyrical. How long have you been dancing Kathryn? I have been dancing since I was 16 months old. I am 7 1/2 yrs old. No, I don't have 8 cats. I have 5 cats. My cat Snuggles lives inside. We rescued she and her brother when they were babies. They were wild kittens living outside by the place my dad takes his car to. It was sad seeing them hungry so my brother and I begged our parents to save them. They are now 2 years old. I also have 3 other wild cats we take care of and feed. My mom trapped the mom when she was pregnant and then we took care of the babaies and my mom had the momma cat fixed. Now she hangs out at our house as too. So does one of her babies and another big male cat. Thats 5 cats. Their names are Mamma Kitty, Lucky, King and Tikki. Dancers rock! Maddie

2. Who did you have the most fun with on set of Greys?
3. Was Ellen Pompeo nice?
4. Did you keep in contact with any body from Greys?
Maddie Says...
Thank you for saying I did a great job. Heres the answers to your questions:
1. Yes it was a lot of fun.
2. I had the most fun with Patrick Demsey and my photo double Annika. Mr. Demsey told me a lot of jokes and made me laugh. I also had fun with Annika playing jump rope with a rope tied to a water bottle and 24 questions in between takes. We had to stop when the water started spilling out of the bottle though and made too much noise.
3. Yes, Ellen was SUPER nice to me and even told me I did a good job. She was great to work with.
4. No I haven't kept in contact with them. I know they are really busy working and I am in school everyday as well as trying to keep up with my practices for upcoming dance competitions. Something that has been hard lately and I have to compete this weekend.
